So, who doesn’t love chocolate?
From 14 to 17 February, the Chocolate Festival took place in Technopolis, Gazi.
Of course, I couldn’t miss it. I was fortunate to be in Athens, so since I attended the exhibition!
Chocolate workshops, benches on which they made sweets at that time, homemade lemonade, shots of chocolate, crepes, waffles, brownies, and many even made you think you’re in heaven!
At the entrance stood a chocolate fountain and around the stalls with various goodies. The people were waiting in queues to try a homemade lemonade and wedges of chocolate. Brownies, crepes, pastries produced in front of your eyes and you could buy large easter eggs or chocolate delights with children‘s decoration!
I was excited, and I bought waffles with Kinder Bueno chocolate, and I ate all of them.
The neighboring building, connoisseurs of the pastry, making various recipes live and gave multiple tips! I don’t remember anything of what they said, the view of chocolate absorbed me.
At the same time, you could learn about the history and production of chocolate through various quotes on the wall as well as through video.
Out in the courtyard, there were everywhere, tables and canteens with salty and sweet snacks! I decided to eat something salty and sweet at the same time from a food truck that piqued my interest! So, I bought the “el jefe” chicken sandwich by the guerilla chef! The superb sweet-salted sandwich I’ve ever munched! (What I’m saying? I haven’t had another like that! I didn’t even know that there was, but it was delicious!). Inspired by the Mexican gastronomy, combines the flavors of chicken, mole sauce and onion!
It is a delightful experience that I will recall for a long time.
