Presentation:
Those of you who love Indian gastronomy, in the Pink Elephant, you will speak about the special sauces and marinades made daily by the chefs. Spices, exotic fruits, herbs, and fresh vegetables are perfectly combined to offer you unique flavors brought from India. They have, of course, the traditional indican clay oven tandoor with charcoal, and they make that moment the most delicious pies Naan with various contents, meat (chicken, lamb or beef) or seafood (shrimp) that combine with the incredible sauce (curries).
Flavors that I tried:
- Cheese and potato Naan
- Steamed rice (boiled basmati with a light aroma of spice)
- Dry Indian chili chicken (chicken fillets in a thick sweet and sour sauce with peppers, soya sauce, and green chili)
- Zafrani korma (tender bites in a mild creamy sauce of coconut milk with saffron and almonds – I chose chicken)
- For an accompanying beverage, I decided to drink, from Lassi, ( an Indian drink made of fruit-based yogurt), the plain.
Impressions:
I very much liked the sauce, Dry Indian chili and I enjoyed the unique flavor of the saffron combined with the coconut milk in Zafrani Korma!
They brought us dessert!! Something like “touloumpa” (a greek sweet) and a crispy cake in the shape of a rose!
