Survival

As a person who travels several times, I have wondered what I would do if I was in need and I had no water with me. So far, however, I have not searched extensively.

However, as I was doing some research for an article, I found on YouTube a video of the Get Ready Paros which is an academy battle and survival of Paros Island, and I consider that the guys have done a great job on the videos that have uploaded. So, I would like to share one of them with you.

Before I reveal you the video, I would like to say a few things that are necessary for your survival. I believe it is good to know them in order not to panic. Especially, if you have lost and all you have around is of the sea or the swamps, puddles, etc.

For seawater:

1.
 a’ method

It needs two water bottles plastics (One big and one small) and a knife or penknife.
Cut both bottles in half and take the bottom part of the fill of salt water and is placed inside the large and reunite. Leave it for about 5 hours in the sun. The aqua which is inside, reaches the roof of the bottle in the system of steam, be liquid and falls, like safe drinking water, to the bottom sliding from the walls of the large container. This way fills up around one shot glass of clean water.

  • B’ methodIt needs a tin can and a towel. Fill the vessel with saline water, put on two stones, put over it with a towel/fabric and underneath turn it on fire. As this boils, and the steam get absorbed by the towel, it needs to be squeezed it in a vessel and drink the refreshing water. You can reiterate several times to have, of course, much more water than the first way.
For muddied water

2. Life Straw

It is a straw in the upper part has a spout and from the bottom has a slot for entering the water. When you suck through the straw, the non-salted water, either is swamp or muddy water, the aqua is cleaned through carbon and some filters, and is drinkable.
